MarketPro has teamed up with a leading global leader in the software printing industry in search of a Global Product Marketing Director in Pittsburgh, PA office.

Reporting to the SVP, this marketing executive search role will direct and oversee a $150M global business overall Marketing and Sales Enablement efforts. The incumbent will design, implement and monitor effective marketing strategies and sales enablement programs that drive global growth.

The Global Product Marketing Director will serve as member of the Executive Management Team and will be expected to leverage our marketing investments into organizational growth.  We are looking for a leader who has the vision of a product marketer and the detail and analytical approach of a modern performance based marketer. Most importantly we are looking for someone who is always evolving as a professional and is ahead of the pace of change in marketing.

To be successful in this role, you should be adept at strategic positioning and planning, results oriented programs, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves as an individual contributor. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that the Product Marketing department’s deliverables contribute to achieving our business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • The scope of this role includes, but is not limited to, market-back insights and strategy, channel management, marketing communications strategy, new product development, pricing strategy, and product positioning and messaging.
  • Strategic positioning of our product, services and consulting offering for our various segments of operation
  • Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness and market demand.
  • In collaborate with the BU leadership and Sales head, design and implement:
    • Effective Sales Enablement programs
    • Effective demand generation activities
    • Effective product and services launch and go-to-market programs
    • Effective market analysis and competitive analysis
  • Set current and long-term goals for the marketing team
  • Align with other Business Unit marketing leads to increase leverage
  • Track, measure and optimize budget allocation and marketing spend
  • Build relationships with media, analysts and stakeholders through creative PR strategies
  • Manage social media programs and the portion in the company’s website
  • Prioritize marketing projects and allocate resources accordingly
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics
  • Collaborating with Corporate Marketing, provide requirements, guidance and creative ideas as to effectively organizing marketing events and trade show activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in global marketing of software products
  • 5 years of experience effectively managing marketing efforts in a B2B context
  • Strong communication skills and a proven track record in designing and communicating portfolio offering vision and clear value proposition
  • Demonstrate proven track record in Designing and implementing:
    • Successful marketing strategies that yield results
    • Effective Sales Enablement programs
    • Effective demand generation programs
    • Effective product launch and go-to-market programs
    • Effective market analysis and competitive analysis
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, web analytics and Google AdWords
  • Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques
  • Proven work experience as a senior level Marketing leader and a member of a business/business unit management team
