MarketPro, the leading marketing executive search firm is looking for a Product Marketing Manager, with expertise in Life Sciences, to join a fast-growing enterprise SaaS organization that is driven to help their clients – the world’s leading pharmaceutical, medical device, consumer products, and discreet manufacturing companies – deliver on their promise to their customers.
This individual will act as a product advocate and evangelist, clearly articulating the company’s unique value proposition to the market and educate our internal teams. They will develop a strong understanding of product capabilities and bring together their deep knowledge and experience to apply the solution benefits to the quality and regulatory life science industry. The Product Marketing Manager will own and deliver innovative and compelling content such as messaging, marketing collateral, sales materials, and thought leadership to position the company’s leading solutions in the Life Sciences industry.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Market Experience: a practitioner of Quality Management, deep knowledge across life sciences value chain
• Domain Knowledge: Will have been in a life science manufacturing, quality, and regulatory function within the last 5 years.
• Communication Skills: Enjoys authoring content and has excellent written communication skills.
• Messaging: Leverage life science industry quality and regulatory understanding in order to develop bold messaging and positioning for digital solutions that differentiate the product in the market.
• Content: Owns and creates content to articulate the benefits of the product to the world. Examples of product and marketing assets include datasheets, infographics, solution briefs, white papers, user guides, web tutorials, web content, presentations, sales documentation, product videos, website copy, blog posts, release announcements.
• Sales Enablement: Partner with the Product Management team to communicate the value proposition of the product to the sales team. Experienced in developing marketing assets and sales tools with the ability to enable internal business development teams.
Product Launch: Plan the launch of new related products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
Customer Insight: Able to leverage past industry experience to provide perspective on the role of quality management systems and communicate day-to-day challenges that users face when managing quality and compliance. Be the expert on buyer persona (leaders in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Quality Management) and mindset of buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria to develop assets that support the sales cycle.
Market and Competitive Intelligence: Keeps up to date on life science quality, regulatory trends, and value chain including trends, key players, and potential disruptions. Be the expert on the competition. Follow and analyze market trends to position the product and identify new required capabilities

Preferred Skills:

• 5+ years’ experience in Quality Management in Life Science (pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device) industry with 3+ years’ in supervisory/ management roles.
• Familiar with 21 CFR Part 11, 210, 211, 315, 820, ICH guidelines, ISO 13485 and 14971, and other applicable regulation for the global life sciences industry.
• Management/administration of Quality Management System preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or technical discipline; MBA desirable
• 5+ years’ experience in marketing enterprise software preferred
• Must be able to work with limited supervision and be accountable for actions
• Strong research, analytical and writing skills
• Accountable, flexible, driven, dependable
• Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
• Attention to detail and organizationally oriented
