As their next Senior Vice President of Marketing, you will oversee the marketing initiatives within the brand and develop the company’s overall marketing strategy and vision. Reporting to the President, you will also help design and execute engaging programs to increase awareness of the company and its products and services. This marketing executive search position entails a high degree of responsibility to deliver successful integration and execution of products, marketing campaigns enhancing the company’s overall growth long-term.

Responsibilities:

  • Defines marketing strategies to support the company’s overall strategic objectives
  • Leads marketing functions and operations including: strategic marketing, product marketing, brand, communications, content, digital, events, analysis and partnerships
  • Analyzes market trends to be able to direct the market research efforts of the company, as well as product development initiatives
  • Employs a cross-functional approach across the organization to develop, deliver and communicate value propositions to customers
  • Develops a feasible marketing plan for the team and oversees its day-to-day implementation
  • Oversees media relations and all methods of advertising, engaging with external agencies for campaign deliverables as appropriate
  • Supervises market research and industry relations activities
  • Advises team strategy for trade show exhibits, thought leadership opportunities and customer educational sessions
  • Responsible for all digital and printed promotions such as brochures and website
  • Experience with marketing budget allocations, budget management and marketing capital expenditures, as well as campaign budget management measured against business metrics
  • Owns the company’s brand and voice, ensuring consistency in all published materials, digital media and internal and external communications
  • Obtains customer feedback related to products and services and communicates to the appropriate parties
  • Maintain and build trusted relationships with internal business partners, key clients, external partners and stakeholders
  • Manage multiple customer channels including, provider, health plan, government, life sciences, and others as identified
  • Demonstrates a continual track record of success from month to month and year to year
  • Motivates and leads a high-performance team; attracts, recruits and retains top talent
  • Fosters a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company
  • Adheres to company, federal, state and local requirements, enforcing compliance and taking appropriate action when needed

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as chief marketing officer or similar role in the healthcare technology space
  • Minimum of ten years’ experience in marketing role with minimum of five years in a senior level management position
  • Extensive knowledge of marketing principles and classic marketing techniques such as segmentation and customer decision making
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Understands changing market dynamics and proven experience establishing strategies to adjust to them
  • Demonstrable experience in developing efficient strategies and business plans for all marketing aspects (branding, product promotion etc.)
  • Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods
  • Ability to apply marketing techniques over digital (e.g. social media) and non-digital (e.g. press) channels
  • Understanding of different business disciplines (IT, finance etc.)
  • Proficient in MS Office and business software (e.g. CRM)
  • A leader with both creative and analytical capabilities
  • Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a budget
  • Excellent people skills with ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team
  • Proven experience working within ambiguous, fast-moving environment while also driving toward clarity and solutions
  • Demonstrated experience setting priorities and achieving goals and objectives
