Vice President of Marketing, Healthcare Technology – Atlanta, GA

As their next Vice President of Marketing, you will take a proactive, strategic leadership role in developing and executing communications and public relations programs. Reporting to the SVP, you will also help design and execute these engaging programs to increase awareness of the company and its products and services. This marketing executive search will provide a position that entails a high degree of responsibility and tactical coordination to deliver successful integration and execution of products, marketing campaigns and customer facing communications.


  • Responsible for leading, planning for and oversight of an assigned marketing portfolio focused on brand awareness, lead acquisition, customer engagement and retention to an identified target markets
  • Responsible for developing communication plans with measurable objectives
  • Staying up to speed on relevant products and technology in the market
  • Serves in an advisory role to senior management while proposing best practices for communication plans and projects
  • Collaboration with other departmental Marketing Leaders to develop new product plans and marketing communication programs that support the marketing objectives of the business team in a manner that utilizes best practices, cultivates brand stewardship, and provides strategic and creative excellence that is both effective and efficient
  • Takes initiative to propose new ideas and means to reach desired audiences
  • Develops a communications process from start to finish including planning, researching, interviewing, writing copy and editing targeted communications
  • Manages public relations initiatives with journal editors and the business unit as a whole, to include press releases, press mentions, press meetings, white papers, case studies, industry articles, and speaking engagements
  • Correspond with employees to keep them informed of company developments while promoting awareness, productivity and positive image
  • Works within budget constraints as determined by executive staff
  • Other duties and responsibilities, as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications/Public Relations or equivalent experience. (or equivalent experience)
  • Healthcare industry experience strongly desired
  • Minimum of 3 years integrated marketing experience including: direct marketing (both online and offline), thought leadership/content marketing, public relations and events (both online and offline.)
  • Demonstrated success in handling corporate communication plans across all lines of employee
  • Minimum 3 years in a supervisory marketing communications role
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal/team building skills
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and participate on multi-functional teams
  • Ability to work at a detailed level while maintaining an overall project perspective
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to articulate a vision and persuade others through effective communication, both oral and written
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other internal departments and outside vendors using a variety of communication mediums such as (print, e-mail, Web content, meetings, promotional items, etc.) Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent research and proofreading skills
