KANSAS CITY, MO — August 21, 2018 — Marketing executive search firm MarketPro is pleased to announce the placement of Delaina Lee as the new Vice President of Marketing at BlueScope.
She will be reporting to Miguel Alvarez, President of BlueScope Buildings North America.

BlueScope Buildings North America is a fully integrated business that designs, manufactures and markets custom engineered metal building systems and components for industrial, commercial and community segments of low-rise, non-residential building and construction markets, and government applications. BlueScope Buildings North America draws upon a number of distribution channels to bring its product to the customer.
BlueScope is a global leader in premium branded coated and painted steel products; in fact, the third largest manufacturer of painted and coated steel products globally. The company has great strengths in engineered steel buildings in key markets, and is number one in the building and construction markets. They have a distinctive capability in engineered buildings and are the market leader in the two largest markets, North America and China.
BlueScope was looking to find a VP of Marketing to provide both strategic and tactical marketing support, and who could integrate marketing while managing a house of brands including Butler, BlueScope Construction, BlueScope Conventional, Varco Pruden and BlueScope Properties. This person would have the opportunity to build a modern marketing strategy from the ground up for a group of companies that came together via acquisition, take them on a digital transformation, and enable a salesforce.

Delaina was previously at Ply Gem Siding as Director of Customer Engagement where she was in charge of driving the overall marketing strategy and sales support, leading a team, focusing on driving measurable marketing results, new product launches, and utilizing modern marketing to enable organizational growth.
She has had additional experience working in companies like Coleman and Brasscraft, giving her the depth and breadth of experience to be successful in her new role.
Delaina’s strengths include branding, digital transformation, strategic marketing, leading a team, and being a creative problem solver. Her extensive experience with performing and managing all of the functions under the marketing umbrella allows her to be the perfect person to own marketing for BlueScope and lead them into the future as a modern marketing enterprise.
