MarketPro has partnered with an international travel company in Atlanta, GA  in search of a contract Marketing Product Manager. We are currently seeking someone who will become part of the industry-leading Digital Commerce Team at our Clienton a marketing staffing basis. As part of the marketing organization, and working closely with the Information Technology (IT) team, this individual will be responsible for establishing and implementing strategic and tactical enhancements to our Client’s current and emerging mobile & digital channels. You will work closely with the booking and site wide e-commerce product teams and merchandising & personalization e-commerce commercial teams to ensure plans to enhance the website are integrated where applicable through mobile and digital channels and vice-versa. Mobile channels such as mobile web, iPhone, Android, iPad, Blackberry, etc.; Digital channels such as: kiosks, airport gate info displays, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain ownership of the product roadmap
  • Create and maintain competitive information & analysis
  • Oversee projects to ensure delivery of high quality products that meet business objectives
  • Conceive products that generate new revenue streams or shift existing revenue streams to self-service
  • Prioritize product enhancements to deliver world-class capabilities while enhancing the customer experience
  • Define success criteria & metrics of new products & perform post-implementation analysis and ongoing optimization
  • Collaborate closely with other divisions to translate business requirements into digital products and experiences
  • Independently correlate relevant product metrics and be able to effectively analyze and communicate to senior level leaders
  • Create and maintain competitive information & analysis to determine areas where mobile & digital channels need to improve or have competitive advantage, in an effort to become and remain an excellent, industry-leading airline.
  • Develop subject-matter expertise as a product owner of mobile & digital channels.
  • Create business requirements for new product improvements to mobile & digital channels.
  • Oversee IT project management of new projects to deliver high quality products that meet business objectives.
  • Implement self-service solutions that shift manual transactions to mobile & digital channels resulting in cost savings.
  • Implement solutions that generate new revenue streams or shift existing revenue streams to mobile & digital channels.
  • Lead strategic analysis involving prioritization & optimization of product enhancements to deliver excellent capabilities while enhancing the customer experience.
  • Develop both strategic & tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment resulting in employee safety and well-being.
  • Practices safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures

Requirements:

  • 0-3 years as a Digital Product Manager
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field required and 3-5 years’ work experience
  • Proven marketing & analytical experience
  • Knowledge of the airline industry, travel landscape and consumer behavior preferred
  • Proven track record of successfully working in a cross-departmental team environment and delivering results on time and on budget
  • Strong leadership skills, written & oral communication skills, positive attitude, & able to manage change successfully in a fast-paced environment.
  • At least two years’ experience working on mobile initiatives, e-commerce, and self-service products
  • Marketing & analytical experience, kiosk technology, travel landscape and consumer behavior preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully working in a cross-departmental team environment, delivering results on time, on budget
  • Strong leadership skills, written & oral communication skills, positive attitude, & able to manage change successfully in a fast-paced environment.
