MarketPro has partnered with a leading clothing manufacturer located in the heart of Buckhead in Atlanta for an interim Director of Direct Marketing position. In this role you will oversee the development and implementation of direct marketing programs to raise the levels of customer acquisition, retention, and cross/up-selling.  Additional duties include designing campaigns using direct mail, email, websites, telemarketing, catalogs, and marketing collateral, as well as developing return-on-investment goals, testing plans, and segmentation strategies.


  • Liaison for the Direct Marketing Inter-Department vendors
  • Manages the execution of the circulation / contact strategies within and across channels
  • Create and/or revise Creative Briefs
  • Route creative and year over year performance comparisons
  • Work with Print Management on updates to Production, including costs, quotes and comparisons
  • Confirm Final Paper Orders
  • Manage brand guidelines and detailed campaign summaries
  • Manage various brands planning
  • Provide monthly budget updates to management
  • Oversee invoicing and budgeting
  • Manage coupons, coding, segmentation and requests
  • Review and approve print materials
  • Confirm metadata


  • 5 – 7 years of developing and executing high-impact, direct-response marketing strategies, and campaigns
  • Expertise in traditional direct mail marketing, including hands-on familiarity with current trends and best practices in direct mail and direct mail testing
  • Proven track record of success in leading the development and implementation of integrated marketing programs that drive business results and align with company strategies
  • Knowledge of core marketing principles, familiarity with creative development and direct marketing processes
  • Strong analytical skills and eager to use quantitative analysis of results
  • Self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Concentration in Direct Mail strongly preferred
  • Profit and loss management, budgeting
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics
