MarketPro has partnered with a global nonprofit organization focused on youth development in search of an Integrated Marketing Manager near Washington, D.C. In this position you will have responsibility for developing (in collaboration with other Marketing & Brand subject matter groups) and managing an integrated marketing strategy for a brand platform. This strategy would inform both the client’s brand initiatives and partnership initiatives related to that platform.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other Marketing & Brand subject matter groups to develop integrated marketing and thought leadership strategies for one of four of the client’s brand platforms
  • Develop and manage integrated marketing and thought leadership plans
  • Develop a wide variety of written communications materials, including press releases, feature articles, opinion editorials, and messaging and content for brand platform marketing
  • Coordinate regular meetings and prepare regular reports outlining the brand’s performance in the Manager’s platform area
  • With the support of a marketing coordinator, oversee the central and up-to-date management of all marketing and thought leadership content aligned to the Manager’s brand platform
  • Responsible for the ideation, creation and execution of integrated marketing deliverables with our corporate partners, including but not limited to events, grassroots outreach, local and national media relations campaigns, and social and digital activations
  • Provide effective project management of integrated marketing campaigns in collaboration with other Marketing & Brand subject matter groups
  • Work in collaboration with fundraising, grant management and program colleagues to support the seamless implementation of fundraising partnerships
  • Lead marketing strategy development and integration for all current funder renewal proposals
  • Support the Integrated Marketing Director with planning integrated marketing deliverables during the development of new donor proposals
  • Support the development of client’s long term planning that identifies new funding opportunities and partners
  • Support the Integrated Marketing Director with marketing initiatives to position client to prospective donors or donor agencies
  • Responsible for the stewardship and measurement of marketing investments by corporate partners during the terms of partnership agreements
  • Help identify performance indicators, manage deliverables and track metrics for integrated marketing campaigns
  • Prepare routine update reports for partner, highlighting results of PR and marketing activities and opportunities
  • Integrate donor deliverables and messaging into the client’s overall consumer-facing campaign efforts

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field with at least seven years of relevant public relations/marketing experience; preferably including marketing or public relations agency experience
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work quickly and accurately under deadlines in a busy office
  • Experience and success in project management, writing and creativity
  • Strategic planning skills and experience developing PR and integrated marketing campaigns with strategies and tactics that are connected to tangible metrics and outcomes
  • Strong media relations skills and experience designing messages, pitches and campaigns to secure media coverage
  • Strong digital experience cultivating and engaging stakeholder groups through social media
  • An understanding of the dynamic of fundraising and donor stewardship; experience co-creating issue-focused campaigns with partners
  • Ability to communicate effectively with multiple high-profile donors and board members
  • Track record of managing projects to successful completion on time and on budget
  • Creative thinker with the ability to conceptualize new ideas and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to think strategically, shape projects and develop creative briefs for communications partners
  • Facility with current marketing technologies, from social media to analytics
  • An interest in the issue of youth development
