MarketPro is growing and needs a top B2B sales professional in Atlanta to sustain our expansion. The Business Development Director identifies and prioritizes new business opportunities and effectively presents services and solutions to clients in need. Working in conjunction with our Head of Marketing to make sure all leads created by our inbound campaigns are appropriately followed up on and turned into customers.

The ideal candidate is an experienced B2B salesperson, preferably selling marketing, executive search, staffing, or recruiting services. He or she will engage prospects and manage customers throughout the entire customer lifecycle. Responsibilities include cold-calling, generating new leads, following up on pre-established leads, and managing the decision making process with Marketing and Human Resources.
The Business Development Director will establish an account base with a consultative approach to identify new customers and develop long-lasting relationships to generate future business.
- Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, establishing relationships, and preparing proposals.
- Respond to inbound leads created by our Marketing team.
- Hit sales goals on a consistent basis by acquiring new clients and assisting with the growth of current accounts.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and make due with ambiguity and uncertainty.
- Must maintain a strong knowledge of the company, the services we provide, our industry, and big-picture marketing trends and news.
- Create and maintain an active, professional social media presence on key networks, sharing company content and fostering valuable relationships with talent and clients.
- 3 to 7 years B2B sales experience in a professional service industry.
- Master networker with the ability to connect with decision makers and close deals.
- Bright, energetic, a great communicator, have strong business acumen and a BA/BS degree.
- You are entrepreneurial in nature.
- Solid negotiation/closing skills.
- Marketing experience (professional or practical) a must.
- Experience in strategic, conceptual, and/or consultative selling, along with a record of proven sales performance and a fanatical commitment to customer service.
This is a full time internal position with MarketPro.
