MarketPro has partnered with a top consumer brand in Atlanta, GA in search of a long-term contract Website Product Specialist. We are currently seeking a businessperson that understands web technology. The Website Product Specialist will be the subject matter expert on a B2B website. He/she will use this expertise to design and coordinate site improvements, app integrations, technical user support, and produce reports about site users and user behavior. In addition to working with business stakeholders, this person will work with IT, internal customers, and external customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, define, and design website features
  • Work with the project’s IT Business Analysts (BAs) to ensure that desired functionality is incorporated into business requirements
  • Discovering, documenting and analyzing business processes
  • Collaborating on overall website user experience
  • Testing, troubleshooting and use case development
  • Partnering with stakeholders—including customers, users, IT, and vendors—to deliver the best products, on time and under budge
  • Tracking project progress and providing routine and frequent updates
  • Evaluating constrained resource implications and presenting alternative solutions
  • Data and Analytic Reporting Responsibilities include overall stewardship of website user data throughout site and downstream Client’s systems
  • Distribute regularly scheduled reports as well as generate ad-hoc reports of website traffic/activity from website reporting tool
  • Day to Day Operating Responsibilities include 3rd tier support for website related questions
  • General knowledge of the website eco-system as well as typical user experience issues to ensure faster resolution
  • Escalating to identified resources including IT for resolution

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 3+ years’ work experience
  • Prior experience as a website product manager preferred
  • Works well with others in a fast-paced time-sensitive environment
  • Experience in portal or website creation and design, or management of similar systems
  • Experienced in MS Visio, PowerPoint and Outlook; MS Project preferred
  • B2B & internal customer experience
  • General knowledge of travel related industry segments (airlines, hotels, travel agencies)
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills

  • Strong process orientation
  • Willing and able to travel occasionally
