MarketPro has partnered with a top consumer brand in Atlanta, GA in search of a Content Project Manager. We are currently seeking someone who is able to juggle multiple projects at a fast pace and manage many moving parts and details. You will provide ongoing project management support for day-to-day content production needs, special projects, and campaigns. Duties range from writing, editing and assigning digital content to assisting with management of the content database, coordinating with other editors, partners, and client contacts to ensure quality control of content projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Editor-in-Chief on all key initiatives
  • Writing and responding to client’s emails in a professional manner
  • Building PowerPoint presentations and large Excel spreadsheets
  • Supporting special projects, campaigns and other editorial initiatives
  • Managing the digital component of an editorial calendar, mapping planned content and providing regular status updates to the team, client, and partner agencies
  • Managing project flows
  • Prepare reports for weekly meetings
  • Accountable for ensuring accurate communication to both internal partners and external partners
  • Coordinating with editors, writers, clients, and partner agencies to ensure that deliverables are executed on time and in line with brand standards
  • Assisting with (and managing) fact-checking, proofreading, line editing, writing and CMS entry as needed, working with in-house and freelance resources
  • Proofs marketing collateral, broadcast/TV scripts, advertising, online content
  • Working with cross-functional teams
  • Managing all email communications
  • Attend status update meetings as needed

Requirements:

  • BA or BS Degree
  • 3-5 years of working experience
  • Strong project management experience
  • Marketing background is preferred
  • Strong leadership abilities and experience in managing cross-functional work relationships
  • Very strong writing and communication skills
  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite (specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
  • Ability to manage last minute requests and moving priorities
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • An interest in and enthusiasm for marketing and project management
  • Responsive and proactive
  • Strong self-management skills (flexible and able to set and adjust priorities as needs change)
  • Must be team-oriented
