Ultimately, LinkedIn believes that by taking a skills-based approach to opportunities, they can remove the barriers for candidates who might not have the degree or network but have outstanding skills.

Instead of waiting to explain why you have a skill gap in your resume, you can close them by finishing the free LinkedIn Learning courses. Once you have achieved that, your next step is to demonstrate your skills. There will be a multiple-choice assessment and a video or text assessment you will need to complete.
